As my extra extra special special for the first night of the fall pledge drive was to play my top 25 artists of the WMSE era. Most of them started in the 80s, a couple-three in the 90s, a few in the 60s/ 70s. All but a couple have had long-running careers, which wiped out the flash-in-the-pans and many early punkers.
